An Overview of the Use of Health Services for BPJS Kesehatan Participants at the Kiarapandak Health Center in 2021

Abstract

Introduction: Good health services are a necessity for the community and are often a benchmark in the success of the development. Therefore, the government makes a program that can improve overall health services. The program created by the Government of Indonesia is the implementation of the Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) program organized by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) according to Law Number 40 of 2004 concerning the Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional (SJSN).

Methods: This type of research uses quantitative research that aims to describe a situation in a community or society. This research method uses a cross-sectional approach (cross-sectional) where observations of variables are carried out once at a time.

Results: The results of this study indicate that of 90 respondents there are 40 respondents (44,4%)  always use health services using the BPJS Health card at the Public Health Center, 18 respondents (20%) rarely use health services using the BPJS Health card at the Public Health Center, 11 respondents (12,2%) sometimes use health services using the BPJS Health card at the Public Health Center, and 21 respondents (23,3%) who had never use health services using the BPJS Health card at the Public Health Center.

Discussion: It is suggested that the Public Health Center should hold outreach to the community about the role and function of the Public Health Center. The Public Health Center must provide information to the public about the benefits of the BPJS Health card for health services at the Public Health Center.
