Introduction: Diarrhea is a disease with signs of changes in loose stools until it melts and an increase in the frequency of bowel movements 3 or more times a day. Factors that influence diarrhea are environment, population, socio-economic and community behavior. Diarrhea is a public health problem that needs attention because it is the third major contributor to morbidity and mortality. In the world, there are 1.7 billion cases of diarrhea that occur every year. Based on Riskesdas 2018 is known that the prevalence of diarrhea based on the diagnosis of health workers is 6.8%. This shows an increase of 2.3% when compared to the results of Based on Riskesdas 2013.
Methods: This study used a descriptive quantitative research design, the population in this study is Bogor City residents, totaling 217 people. The data collection in this study was done online, through observation questionnaires (google form) the data was processed and analyzed using Microsoft excel. Data analysis included univariate analysis by looking for frequency distributions.
Results: The results showed that from 217 respondents, from the environmental aspect 129 (59.5%) used latrines that did not meet the criteria for healthy latrines, respondents who did not meet the Healthy House Criteria are 90 (41.5%), respondents who had a sewerage system Bad waste was 195 (89.9%), Then the behavioral aspect of respondents who always wash their hands with soap was 172 (79.3%).
Discussion: Efforts can be made by running the PHBS program, healthy community movements, and maintaining environmental cleanliness as well as providing education and understanding in eradicating diarrhea by providing knowledge to the public about diarrhea prevention so that the incidence of diarrhea continues to decline.
