Despite significant efforts, the challenges of dealing with Covid-19 in Indonesia persist. In West Kalimantan Province, there have been 67,518 Covid-19 cases with 1,147 (1.7%) fatalities, and RSUD dr. Soedarso alone has recorded 2,884 cases with 749 (25.97%) deaths. This study aims to identify the severity of comorbidities in patients, categorized as mild, moderate, and severe. It determines the comorbidities and factors contributing to Covid-19 deaths at RSUD dr. Soedarso, as well as the variables or classifications of comorbidities that cause Covid-19 patient deaths.</p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> The study adopts an observational analytical approach using a case-control method. Secondary data from 2,884 patient records were collected and processed using Rapid Miner</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> The study successfully identifies the factors contributing to COVID-19 deaths in patients with comorbidities. The Neural Network and Decision Tree algorithms yield good classification results and demonstrate high accuracy in detecting the factors causing deaths.
