Relationship Between Family Support, Socio-Culture, and Vitamin D Consumption in Pregnant Women with Chronic Energy Deficiency at PMB Nita Wahyuni, Cianjur Regency

Introduction: Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is one of the causes of increasing maternal mortality in the world, CED causes an increase in maternal mortality in the world because the impact of CED caused by one of them is anemia in mothers. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 the number of pregnant women experiencing Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) was (30,1%). In 2021 the number of pregnant women experiencing CED globally was (35-75%). According to data at PMB Nita Wahyuni from the data on the health report of pregnant women/cohorts at PMB Nita Wahyuni, there were 46 cases of CED (chronic malnutrition) out of 265 pregnant women in 2022.
Methods: This study uses a quantitative research method with the research design used in this study is cross-sectional. The population used in this study were pregnant women at PMB Nita Wahyuni, which was 50 people. While the samples taken were 34 samples of pregnant women.
Results: From the results of the statistical test obtained p-value family support (0,000); socio-culture (0,000) and vitamin D consumption (0,000) which means H0 is rejected meaning there is a significant relationship between family support, socio-culture and vitamin D consumption in pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency in PMB Nita Wahyuni Cianjur Regency in 2024.
Discussion: The conclusions from this researchis that family support, socio-culture and vitamin D consumption are related to the incidence of chronic energy deficiency in PMB Nita Wahyuni. With the hope that the suggestions given can be useful in further research.
