Abstract

Introduction: Community compliance in implementing the COVID-19 health protocol is currently still relatively low, so it has an impact on increasing and spreading. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between attitudes, education level, and family support on community compliance behavior in implementing the COVID-19 health protocol in the RW 06 area in 2020.

Methods: This research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The population of this research is the entire community of RW 06. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling of as many as 100 people. The data used are primary data through questionnaires and secondary data derived from books and literature. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate with a chi-square test.

Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between attitudes obtained p-value = 0,000 with OR = 80.640, education level obtained p-value = 0,035 with OR = 0,259, and family support obtained p-value = 0,000 with OR = 84,208 on community compliance behavior in implementing the COVID-19 protocol.

Discussion: It is recommended for stakeholders work together with the local Public Health Center to socialize government policies to the community of RW 06 in preventing COVID-19.
