Description of Non-Medical Logistics Management at Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital in 2022

Abstract

Introduction: Logistics management is a collection of planning, procuring, and supervising all activities of recording, distributing, storing, maintaining, and deleting, aiming to support organizational goals more effectively, and efficiently. The purpose of this research is to find out the description of the planning and procurement of non-medical logistics goods at the Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital the type of research used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach.

Methods: The aim of the study was to find out the description of the planning and procurement of non-medical logistics goods at the Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital the type of research used was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation, and document review.

Results: Based on the results of the study it was found that the number of human resources at the Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital was sufficient, and activities in planning and procuring goods already had SOPs and had been carried out according to existing SOPs. The infrastructure needed for the smooth management of non-medical logistics, especially planning, and procurement, is adequate.

Discussion: The sources of funds used in the management of non-medical logistics are ABPD and BLUD, but the constraints that often occur in planning and procurement activities are limited budgets, which can hinder the smooth planning and procurement of goods in hospitals.
