Introduction: Menstrual personal hygiene is an important aspect of adolescent reproductive health. Lack of knowledge and inappropriate attitudes toward menstrual hygiene may increase the risk of reproductive tract infections and negatively affect adolescent confidence. Health education strategies that involve active interaction may improve understanding and behavioral changes. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effect of a combination of lecture methods and peer group discussions on knowledge and attitudes regarding menstrual personal hygiene among adolescent girls. Methods: This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach involving 100 female adolescents. Data were collected using knowledge questionnaires and attitude scales regarding menstrual hygiene before and after health education intervention. Data analysis was performed using paired statistical tests. Results: Before intervention, only 28% of respondents had good knowledge, which increased to 86% after intervention. Positive attitudes increased from 42% before intervention to 88% after intervention. Statistical analysis showed significant differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after intervention (p=0.001). Conclusion: The combination of lecture methods and peer group discussions effectively improves adolescent girls’ knowledge and attitudes regarding menstrual personal hygiene.
