Abstract

Introduction: The first two years of life are a critical period for child growth and development, influenced by adequate nutrition and appropriate stimulation. This study aimed to analyze the association between complementary feeding literacy, stimulation, and child development among children under two years in Kp. Curug, Pakansari, Cibinong, Bogor. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 60 mothers with children aged 6 to 23 months. Data were collected using complementary feeding literacy questionnaires, stimulation assessment, and the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire (KPSP). The results showed that 38.3% of mothers had good complementary feeding literacy, 40.0% moderate, and 21.7% poor. Good stimulation was reported for 56.7% of children, while 75.0% had development appropriate for age. Complementary feeding literacy was associated with child development (p=0.008), as was stimulation (p=0.002). Strengthening parental literacy regarding complementary feeding and age-appropriate stimulation through family and community-based health services is recommended.
