Abstract

Introduction: The research titled “The Production Process of the Kontroversi Program at Metro TV” discusses in detail the production process of the Kontroversi program at Metro TV. This study aims to explore in detail how the production process of the Kontroversi program works, starting from the pre-production stage (preparation and planning), production, to post-production, as well as to identify the obstacles encountered during the production process.

Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation.

Results: The result of this research shows that the production process of the Kontroversi program goes through three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The biggest challenge faced during the production process is the difficulty in inviting sources directly related to the issues discussed in the program.

Discussion: The production process of the Kontroversi program at Metro TV goes through three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. In the pre-production stage, the team holds projection meetings to determine the theme and sources, prepares materials, drafts questions, and edits fillers. In the production stage, the team executes the plans that have been set by conducting live shooting.
