Focus and Scope

Focus - Indonesian Scholar Journal of Communication is a scientific journal that focuses on communication aspect. It publishes articles based on empirical studies using quantitative or qualitative approaches or a combination of the two.

Scope - The scope of this journal consists of : 

  • Public Relations discusses Employee Relations, Stockholder Relations, Labor relations Human relations, Press relations, Government relations, Community relations, Customer relations and Consumer relations.
  • Advertising discusses electronic media and print media.
  • Broadcast discusses the culture of broadcast media in the role of information media for disseminating information to the public.
  • Political communication is communication that uses messages and political actors or is related to power, government, and policy.
  • Cross-cultural communication is communication between people with different cultures (eg race, ethnicity, or socio-economic)
  • Business communication is an idea or agreement, information, conversations between people (private or non-personal) through various symbols to achieve company goals.
  • Communication organizations that discuss organizational relations and explain the interactions between people in the organization.
