Introduction: This study examines the production process of digital learning videos conducted by Sekolah Islam Plus Daarul Jannah through the YouTube channel “Daarul Jannah E-Learning.” The study aims to provide an in-depth description of each stage of the learning video production process, including pre-production, production, post-production, and evaluation prior to publication. In addition, this research seeks to identify the factors that influence the success of E-Learning video production as a digital learning medium.
Methods: This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted to examine the video production workflow, interviews were carried out with teachers and the creative team involved in the production process, and documentation was used to support and validate the findings.
Results: The results indicate that the success of E-Learning video production is influenced by several key factors, including effective collaboration between teachers and the creative team, efficient time management, and the ability to adapt to technical constraints and limited resources. The E-Learning videos produced were found to positively impact students’ understanding of learning materials, enhance learning flexibility, and increase students’ learning motivation.
Discussion: The findings suggest that a structured and well-planned video production process plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of digital learning content. Collaboration between educators and creative teams enables the delivery of instructional materials in an engaging and pedagogically appropriate manner. Furthermore, adaptability in addressing technical and resource limitations contributes significantly to the sustainability of E-Learning video production. These results highlight the importance of systematic planning and evaluation in developing effective video-based learning media.
