Abstract

Introduction: The role of graphic design is important in creating promotional media because it serves as a mediator to realize clients’ ideas. Graphic designers are expected to provide creative ideas to effectively communicate information about goods and services.

Methods: This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, direct observation, and documentation from sources such as books, websites, articles, and photographs.

Results: A graphic designer is required to develop promotional media concepts that align with the client’s needs. The creation process involves several stages: from pre-production, production, post-production, to final delivery within the agreed timeline.

Discussion: Creativity and innovation are crucial in designing effective promotional media. Key elements include the selection of form, color, and content. Furthermore, graphic designers are responsible for overseeing the printing process and ensuring the final product meets the expectations of post-production teams, company directors, and clients.
