Introduction: Hospital is a health service institution that provides complete individual health services that provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work motivation and the implementation of the surgical safety checklist documentation in the IBS Room of Leuwiliang Hospital in 2021
Methods: The research method used was descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling technique with total sampling so that the sample of this study was 25 nurses who served in the Central Surgical Installation Room.
Results: the results of the study found that the p-value (0.003) was below the value of (0.05), the OR value of 16.00 means nurses who were motivated to work have a 16 times more complete chance of SSC documentation, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted
Discussion: This means that there was a significant relationship between work motivation and the implementation of SSC documentation in the IBS room at Leuwiliang Hospital in 2021. Suggestion: it is hoped that the results of this study can be input for the hospital and staff to improve the quality of patient safety-oriented services
