Relationship Between Workload, Work Stress and Work Environment with Job Satisfaction of Nurses in Hospital X

Abstract

Introduction: Job satisfaction a nurse can feel her job if it is fun to do her job. Currently, a nurse’s job satisfaction is constrained by a heavy workload during the COVID-19 pandemic, experiencing stress, and a less conducive work environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload, work stress, and work environment with the job satisfaction of nurses in Hospital X.

 Methods: This research is a quantitative type with an analytic nature. The research design used is a cross-sectional or cross-sectional study. The population in this study was 105 nurses at Hospital X. The sample in this study was 105 people using a sampling technique, namely total sampling. research instruments or tools used to collect data by using a questionnaire. Researchers used the Chi-Square test.

Results: Based on the research results, the relationship between workload (p-value = 0,002), work stress (p-value = 0,006) and work environment (p-value = 0,003).

Discussion: Conclusion there is a relationship Between Workload, Work Stress, and Work Environment with Job Satisfaction of Nurses in Hospital X.
