The Effect of Hypnobirthing on Pain in Labor in Mothers in the First Stage of Labor at PMB Sri Munthe

Introduction: The data from World Health Organization (WHO) that around 830 women worldwide died every day due to complications related to pregnancy and childbirth and as many as 99%. The phenomenon is that in several health service places not a few mothers who give birth scream and feel confused about the birth process they are going through, and generally health workers think that this is a normal thing for every mother who gives birth. The purpose of this report is to determine the effect of hypnobirthing on labor pain in first-time labor mothers at PMB Sri Munthe.
Methods: The study used a Quasi Experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design where the study was conducted on one sample and included two groups, with the second group appearing after the first. This was done to learn a number of ways that hypnobirthing could be used together with the mother in labor for the first time at PMB Sri Munthe. The population of this study amount was 60 pregnant women and the number of samples taken was above 30 because they were considered a large number of curves were made that would be close to the normal curve.
Results: The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference and is set at 0,05. Between the experimental class and the control class before and after in patients who were not given hypnobirthing in the first stage of labor at PMB Sri Munthe.
Discussion: Conclusions and suggestions from this researcher are that pregnant women should seek complete information about childbirth, especially in dealing with the delivery process with the hypnobirthing method.
