Abstract

Introduction: According to WHO in 2014 the incidence of pregnant women with back pain was 50-80% of pregnant women complained of back pain which is quite disturbing during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Pregnancy Class for Back Pain in Pregnant Women at the Obgyn Polyclinic at Cimacan Hospital in 2022.

Methods: The type of research used in this study was a pre-experimental study (pre-experiment design).

Results: Based on the results of the study on the effect of pregnant women's class on back pain at the Obgyn Polyclinic at Cimacan Hospital, it can be concluded that there is a difference before class pregnant women experience pain with a scale of 4 (slight pain) and 6 (slightly more pain).

Discussion: It is hoped that the RSUD will improve programs that support health and knowledge for pregnant women about complaints that commonly occur in pregnancy and how to handle them, one of which is by maximizing the availability of classes for pregnant women.
