Abstract

Introduction: Decision-making is a systematic approach to the nature of the alternatives faced and taking action that according to calculations is the most appropriate action. The availability of a dashboard is a strategic effort that can assist the decision-making process because it can provide real-time information regarding hospital performance, patient trends, resource availability and treatment effectiveness. This research aims to produce an executive information system dashboard design for strategic managerial decision-making at Hospital X.

Methods: Using requirement elicitation method, agile software development approach, quasi experiment research design and using total sampling technique as many as five people.

Results: The dashboard presents data on outpatient visits, hospitalizations and emergency rooms, bed availability, types of patient guarantors, BOR, LOS, TOI, BTO values, income (real cost), top 10 inpatient and emergency room diseases, number of patients performed surgery in surgical rooms, most drugs used, most visited clinics and visits based on district/city origin.

Discussion: Based on the results of the One-Way Anova test to determine how much the leadership fulfills the requirements elicitation both functional and non-functional a significance value (Sig) of 0,915 > 0,05 is obtained. This shows that all leaders have the same average value of meeting expectations. Identifying the need for information to be displayed in the dashboard is important so that the dashboard is used in the decision-making process.
