Abstract

Introduction: The implementation of electronic medical records (EMRs) at Fatima Hospital has become an essential need to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare services. This study aims to assess the factors that influence readiness for EMR implementation, including information technology readiness, human resources, organizational work culture, and TKK. The results are expected to provide guidance for hospitals and contribute to the health literature

Methods: This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach at Fatima Hospital. The population included medical and non-medical healthcare personnel as well as hospital management. The sample was selected using a cluster random sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression.

Results: The findings were interpreted to identify the factors affecting readiness for EMR implementation in the hospital. Based on the linear regression analysis, the statistically significant predictor variable was TKK. The p-value of TKK was less than 0.05, indicating a very significant relationship between TKK and KP. This is further supported by a high t-statistic value, suggesting a strong relationship between TKK and KP. Thus, in the regression model, TKK is considered a significant predictor with a substantial influence on KP.=

Discussion: Fatima Hospital has demonstrated readiness for implementing electronic medical records. While the readiness of information technology, human resources, and organizational work culture showed positive effects, they were not statistically significant. However, TK showed a positive and considerable influence on the success of EMR implementation at the hospital.
